Proof Reading / Editing Papers
These are usually One-on-One relationships designed to provide help to an international student who might be having difficulty with expressing their knowledge in English. You would be paired with an American student or volunteer who would meet with you when requested. This could be done in person, or might even be accomplished through email once the relationship develops.

Apartment Locating / Housing Help
Our desire is to help international students with housing questions that they might have. This is usually a major need for new arrivals. Our desire is to help students understand and make wise choices about where to live, how much to pay, and how to choose an appropriate roommate.

Automobile Purchasing and Repairs
We have a network of local mechanics and wholesale car buyers who work with us to help provide cost effective purchases and repairs of automobiles. This can be a very difficult task for most international students. But through our network, students often find quality used cars and cost effective repairs without first making expensive mistakes.

Academic Mentoring Program
We provide personal connection with upperclassmen & graduate students for assistance with questions & issues regarding courses & fields of study. The relationships that develop often become effective academic connections over the student’s course of study at UT.

Transportation for shopping needs
We want to provide assistance to students who do not have cars and want help with shopping for Groceries, at department stores like Target, & area malls where a variety of products and gifts can be purchased.
